“I heard the request addressed to me by my friend Nino Scimeca as the desire to say: let the world understand that Caccamo exists, that a formidable work exists in that Church, that that work is of the world and that, if humanity does not go to see it, we will take it where humanity will go!”
Vittorio Sgarbi
“Entrepreneurs who have never cared about the environment, have started from today to tomorrow to plant wind turbines and photovoltaics on fertile land, wherever it happens, transforming the hope and dream of clean energy, in yet another way of making money at the expense of the Earth”.
We wish to redeem the hope and dream of renewable energy as a source of savings and efficiency, creating photovoltaic systems for families and small businesses and supporting, at the same time, the art and culture of the island where he lives an immense cultural artistic heritage and that “enjoys the most powerful sun in Europe”.
It is a form of social responsibility that we feel as entrepreneurs. Profit is not for us the ultimate measure of success. The true value of a company is measured by the positive impact that falls on the territory and society.
Our first initiative made visible in Italy and in the world to over a million visitors “The Miracle of Sant’Isidoro Agricola” (1641) by Mattia Stomer, a canvas of great value kept in the Mother Church of our city, Caccamo, in the province of Palermo, one of the most artistically important centers of Sicily. Nino Scimeca’s intuition, in fact, enthusiastically welcomed by the great art critic Vittorio Sgarbi, made the painting go to the exhibition “Treasury of Italy” at Expo 2015.
We continue today in the daring path of the union between art and renewable energy: from each new photovoltaic system Enersystems, will be obtained the proceeds through which works of art (paintings, sculptures, objects) of the magnificent Sicilian cultural heritage, one for each province, reported by our customers and selected by Prof. Sgarbi, can be restored and enhanced for the promotion of the territory to which they belong and can one day be delivered “to the children who had lent them to their parents”.
In fact, we believe that art, like renewable energy, represents an infinite and sustainable source, that feeds culture and ideas, thus generating future and progress. Because, as pointed out by our President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, “Art collects, unites and facilitates peace”.
